The Value of Trees in Our Changing Region’ provides a Strategic Framework for the future management of trees and woodlands in Yorkshire and The Humber region. It marries national priorities with local aspirations and identifies where a regional approach can add value. Above all, it demonstrates how we can help secure a more sustainable future for our region by maximising the benefits that trees and woodlands offer.

The website has been set up to support the delivery of the strategy in a number of ways:
- To provide better access to the documents and key references
- To show the links between the strategy and other regional and local activities
- To enable stakeholder input at all stages of delivery
- To provide a location for progress reporting and practical examples
- To work with Environment Hub partners to better communicate the key messages and goals
About the Environment Hub
This website is part of the YHREF Environment Hub Project. This is a regional initiative whose aim is to better coordinate online information, provide a cost effective way to engage with stakeholders via the web, and to build a network of integrated and related projects and organisations.
